Did anyone know why Indian Restaurant in Menehune shores shut down?
There is a new Indian Place call Maui Masala just open up in Dolphine plaza, Kihei Maui..Please let me know if anyone has any info on that?

The owners came from Alaska, where they run another Indian restaurant. They were hoping to make the move to Maui permanent with this place. I tried to contact them to find out what happened, but no luck. I suspect the deadly combination of high rent, a major drop in visitors and recession forced them out.
Have you tried Maui Masala? What did you think?
