The hot Maui real estate market is finally starting to cool. With voter participation near record highs this election, the lines at the polls on Election Day could be long. If you’re already registered to vote in Hawaii, you can beat the crowds starting Tuesday, October 21st, by walking into designated sites and voting early.

Congress just passed legislation (H.R. 1424, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act) that renews critical energy efficiency and clean energy tax incentives. The President signed this bill into law on October 3, 2008.
